Changan updates CS15, keeps pricing steady

REAR styling on the refreshed Changan CS15 keeps the familiar LED taillights and bumper design as the entry-level SUV carries over its core look for 2026.

Changan Philippines has rolled out the refreshed 2026 CS15, maintaining its position as the brand’s most affordable model with a price of P850,000, despite much of the company’s recent attention being focused on its electrified lineup.

The CS15 sits at the bottom of the local Changan range and remains aimed at buyers looking for a small crossover with familiar mechanicals and a straightforward feature set.

The 2026 update focuses on exterior tweaks and retained equipment rather than a full redesign, with the overall shape and proportions carrying over from the outgoing version.

Up front, the CS15 receives a revised grille with a denser rhombic pattern, replacing the simpler horizontal layout used before. The headlights, bumper design, and daytime running lights stay the same, keeping the model’s look familiar.

Along the sides, the most visible change comes from the 17 inch gunmetal alloy wheels, while the character lines, roof rails, and mirror finishes remain unchanged.

At the rear, the LED taillights, bumper design, and integrated spoiler continue without revisions.

The dashboard centers on a 10 inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, paired with a seven inch digital instrument cluster.

Leather upholstery remains standard, with a six way manual adjustment for the driver and a four way manual adjustment for the front passenger.

Rear air vents stay in place, along with a moonroof, USB Type A and Type C ports, and a four speaker audio system.

Power continues to come from the same 1.5 liter BlueCore gasoline engine, producing 105 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque. The engine sends power to the front wheels through a five speed wet dual clutch automatic transmission.

The CS15 comes with four airbags, anti lock braking with electronic brakeforce distribution, electronic stability control, hill hold control, and tire pressure monitoring.

The refreshed CS15 is offered locally in four exterior colors: Glitter Galaxy Silver Gray, Red, Shiny Pearl Black, and Snowy White. Dimensions stay the same, with an overall length of 4,135 mm, width of 1,740 mm, height of 1,630 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,520 mm.

Changan Philippines continues to back the CS15 with a five year or 150,000 kilometer vehicle warranty. Financing programs are part of the launch, with offers that include an all in down payment of P31,000 or monthly payments starting at P7,485, depending on terms.

With the 2026 update, the CS15 keeps its role as the brand’s entry point for buyers who want a small crossover with automatic transmission, modern infotainment, and a familiar powertrain.
