Autohub Group has been appointed as the official distributor of Deepal in the Philippines following a contract signing with Changan Auto Southeast Asia, as the Chinese electric vehicle brand sets up its local entry ahead of its public debut in 2026.
Deepal operates under the Changan group and focuses on electrified vehicles for the mass market, with Autohub confirming that the brand will make its first major appearance locally at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show scheduled for 9 to 12 April.
The initial lineup for the Philippine market will include the S05 compact SUV offered in two versions, a range-extended electric vehicle and a full battery electric variant.
The same model is expected to serve as the brand’s flagship when sales begin.
Joining the S05 will be the G318, a range-extended electric SUV designed with off-road use in mind, aimed at buyers who want electrification without giving up rough-road capability.
A larger midsize SUV, the S07, is also planned for local release in the following quarters, according to information shared by the distributor.
Autohub said the addition of Deepal fits into its broader plan to expand its portfolio with brands that address changing buyer demand and growing interest in electrified transport.
Tee Ten said the group is focused on vehicles that are relevant to everyday driving conditions while introducing newer technologies to the market.
Pricing details and final specifications have not yet been released, with Autohub indicating that more information will be shared closer to the brand’s MIAS appearance.
Deepal’s arrival adds another name to the growing list of Chinese electric vehicle brands entering the local market, where competition has intensified across both battery electric and range-extended segments.
The S05 is expected to compete with existing electrified SUVs already on sale, while the G318 places the brand in a smaller but growing niche for electrified off-road capable vehicles.
Earlier announcements from Changan’s Philippine operations pointed to multiple electrified models arriving under its different sub-brands, including Deepal.
Autohub is preparing the Deepal lineup for its first public showing and eventual showroom rollout after MIAS 2026.
