Every Bar examination brings stories of people from different backgrounds and reasons for choosing to pursue—and push through—the legal profession.

What could be more meaningful than passing the Bar alongside a loved one? TikTok user Mary Joyce Narciso (@peachymaj) shared that she will be signing the Roll of Attorneys together with her father, Ferdinand Narciso, after both passed the 2025 Bar examinations.

Narciso posted two videos on TikTok detailing their journey to the Bar and their reactions upon seeing their names on the list of passers.

“Now we take this win beyond ourselves—using the law not just as a profession, but as a platform for service, advocacy, and community,” she shared.

Mary Joyce recalled that she once merely accompanied her father during his Bar operations and salubong more than 20 years ago, when he took the exam in 2009—his first and, until 2025, last attempt.

Ahead of the September 2025 Bar exams, the two began studying together around three weeks before the test.

“Before that, since we were both working, he spent most of his review time in Isabela while I finished my last sem in law school here in QC,” Mary Joyce wrote in the caption.

She added that her father traveled back and forth between Isabela and Quezon City to stay with her and her sister, describing the period as “heavy and challenging” for their family—financially, emotionally, and mentally.

Mary Joyce also expressed gratitude to the people who served as their “strong support system” throughout their Bar preparations.

TikTok users described the father-and-daughter milestone as the “best 2025 Bar examination story,” with many sharing that it moved them to tears.
