The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) has been tapped as the official service delivery provider for Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM)’s Likhang Filipino, serving as an Acceptance Post Office for Express Mail Service (EMS) shipments during the showcase opening 15 January 2026.
Under the partnership, PHLPost will handle the acceptance and processing of EMS parcels from participating artisans and producers, enabling them to ship Filipino-made products to both local and international consumers. The initiative positions PHLPost as a key logistics partner in bringing Philippine craftsmanship to global markets.
PHLPost’s Mega Manila Area has been designated to ensure streamlined processing, proper documentation, and timely dispatch of EMS shipments, providing participants with secure, trackable, and globally connected courier services.
“This initiative strengthens our commitment to empower Filipinos to promote and ship homegrown products on the global stage,” Acting Postmaster General and Chief Executive Officer Maximo Sta. Maria III said. He noted that accessible and dependable logistics services help bridge local craftsmanship to international opportunities.
The collaboration supports CITEM’s Likhang Filipino program, which highlights Philippine creativity, design, and craftsmanship, particularly among micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). With PHLPost’s EMS services, participants are assured of faster and more efficient delivery of their goods worldwide.
The partnership reflects the government’s continuing efforts to strengthen trade facilitation, support MSMEs, and promote Filipino-made products beyond domestic borders.
