(January 15 2026) At the press-conference the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jonvic Remulla, announce that the DILG is offering a ₱10 million reward for information leading to the arrest of the alleged mastermind in the “Missing Sabungeros” case, businessman Charlie “Atong” Ang. together with Philippine National Police–Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) Chief PMGen. Robert Morico II and Bureau of Immigration Legal Division Chief Atty. Arvin Santos, SILG said Atong Ang is considered armed and dangerous, prompting the Philippine National Police to intensify efforts to locate him. He also confirmed that the administration has requested an Interpol red notice against Ang, who faces kidnapping charges in connection with the disappearance of several cockfighting enthusiasts in the country.
