Business owners in Taguig entered the 11th day of the city’s annual renewal period Tuesday, utilizing one-stop shops designed to streamline the licensing process for 2026.
The program, known as Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS) 2026, is a joint effort by the Business Permits and Licensing Office and the City Treasurer’s Office. Officials said the program will run daily from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., including weekends, through 20 January.
Under the system, business owners must submit a completed application with supporting documents and pay assessed taxes to receive their permits.
“It is important because it makes taxpayers feel more responsible and encouraged to pay,” said Alicia Calilao, a manager of a water refilling station in Barangay New Lower Bicutan. “We want to see our payments returned to the citizens through services.”
The city has established two physical venues to handle the volume of applicants — the SM Aura Satellite Office in Bonifacio Global City and the Convention Center at the New City Hall Building in Barangay Ususan.
For those preferring a digital option, the city also offers renewals through the Taguig Local City online portal. Payments are accepted via cash, credit or debit cards, mobile wallets such as GCash and Maya, or manager’s checks.
