Pacman Jr. Returns Next Month in NY

Nick Giongco

Jimuel Pacquiao will be back in the professional boxing ring for the second time on 28 February at the Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York (NY).

After being held to a draw by fellow debutant Brendan Lally of Chicago late last year in Temecula, California, Pacquiao Jr. will attempt to barge into the win column against a foe yet to be named, according to Manny Pacquiao Promotions (MPP).

In the main event Elijah Pierce battles Venezuelan Lorenzo Parra in a world title eliminator.

They were supposed to face off last November during the first MPP show but Pierce suddenly felt ill and the fight had to be called off at the last minute.

MPP is being run by the ever-influential Sean Gibbons, who also operates the Las Vegas-based outfit Viva Promotions.

Also appearing on the same card is top American prospect Curmel Moton, who will also meet an opponent soon to be named by MPP.

MPP was established late last year with Gibbons, who represents Pacquiao internationally, bidding to stage as many as four shows on American soil in 2026.

Pacquiao Jr., who is now living in the US, has been training at the Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood since 2021.

Amazon Prime Video will be streaming the fights while Limitless is backing up the MPP event that also drew the support of MannyPay.
