Century Peak Cement highlights right mix for 2026 builds

Century Peak Cement Corporation highlighted the importance of using application-specific cement products as construction activity picks up in 2026.

In a social media post published on 6 January, the company emphasized that different construction projects require different cement mixes, noting that proper selection leads to stronger bonding, fewer reworks, and longer-lasting structures.

The message comes as builders and homeowners prepare for new residential, commercial, and structural projects this year.

Century Peak’s product portfolio includes Type 1 Prime, positioned for use in major structural works where a solid base and consistent strength are critical. The ordinary Portland cement is commonly used for foundations, columns, beams and slabs.

For residential and commercial construction, the company offers Type 1P PRO, a blended cement marketed for general building applications that require good workability and performance.

Completing the lineup is Type S Masonry Lite, which is intended for non-structural applications such as plastering, block laying, and mortar work. The product is promoted for easier handling and achieving cleaner, more polished finishes.

By presenting distinct cement options for specific construction needs, Century Peak aims to address varying requirements across the building sector, from large-scale structural projects to finishing works.
