World Boxing Council (WBC) minimumweight champion Melvin Jerusalem is also in training mode like most of the top fighters in the 105-pound division.
“I am just ready and staying active,” Jerusalem said.
As Pedro Taduran, the International Boxing Federation titleholder, is about to set up camp in Las Vegas, Jerusalem is likewise on the move.
Taduran was brought to the United States in the hopes of landing a shot at adding the World Boxing Association and World Boxing Organization titles of Puerto Rican Oscar Collazo in March.
Jerusalem, like Taduran, is fresh from retaining their respective crowns.
Collazo is regarded as the top dog in the division and is a pound-for-pound fighter.
