The Philippine Stock Exchange, Inc. (PSE) President and CEO Ramon S. Monzon led the delegates from PSE and its subsidiaries, Philippine Dealing System Holdings Corp. and Securities Clearing Corporation of the Philippines, and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), in a study visit to the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE), Taipei Exchange (TPEx) and Taiwan Futures Exchange (TAIFEX) from December 15-18, 2025. The exchange visit provided the delegation an opportunity to learn about the product development initiatives and best practices of bourses in Taiwan.

TAIFEX shared information on derivatives contract lifecycle, trading, clearing and settlement, and market surveillance, while the learning session with TPEx was focused on bond product initiatives, market making and incubation board.

PSE delegates and TWSE representatives led by Chairman and CEO Sherman Lin engaged in interactive exchange and experience sharing focused on topics such as artificial Intelligence use cases, structured warrants, securities borrowing and lending, market making, and extensive Business Reporting Language (XBRL), reflecting shared priorities in market innovation and infrastructure development.

“We are grateful to our partner exchanges, TWSE and TPEx, and TAIFEX for hosting the PSE Group. The insights gained from the learning sessions with them will be useful as we pursue strategies to further develop our capital markets,” said PSE President and CEO Ramon S. Monzon.

PSE signed a Memorandum of Understanding with TWSE on August 20, 2024, and with TPEx on June 10, 2025, to formalize partnership and facilitate collaboration in key areas.
