Lexus Mitsukoshi serves new Key Coffee menu

DT

People who swing by Lexus Mitsukoshi at Mitsukoshi BGC near year’s end will notice something new on the tables. Key Coffee has rolled out fresh food and drink items at the space, which adds more reasons to stop in even if you are not there to look at cars.

One of the new mains is Karaage Udon. The bowl arrives hot with udon noodles in a light dashi broth. The karaage sits on top, crisp and golden, with that first-bite crunch that makes you slow down.

Another comfort pick is Omurice. It uses chicken fried rice wrapped in soft egg, then finished with a tomato demi-glace.

One spoonful gives you rice, egg, and sauce in one go, and you can see why it stays popular in cafés that take Japanese staples seriously.

For something heavier and more layered, there is the Pomodoro Toast. Thick-cut shokupan gets stacked with tsukune, pomodoro, bell peppers, and melted cheese. It comes toasted, so you get crisp edges and a soft middle.

Dessert fans get the Berry Parfait. It mixes crumble, vanilla diplomat cream, and a tart berry compote. Fresh berries top it off, with a touch of balsamic that adds a sharper note.

The result lands on the sweeter side, but it does not feel flat. It finishes clean, and it is the kind of dessert that makes you keep digging until you suddenly realize the glass is empty.

The drinks line-up pushes the same idea. The Velvet Peach and Toffee combines peach, a brown toffee crumble, milk foam, and ginger ale. It leans sweet, with a mild bite from the ginger ale that keeps it from feeling too heavy.

The Chilli Mint Nama Latte goes the other way. It pairs silky nama chocolate with No. 18 espresso, then adds mint and a gentle heat. It sounds odd on paper, but the contrast works when the balance holds.

Another option is the Melon Citrus Cream Soda, which uses melon and lime with milk foam and soda water. It drinks light, with a clean finish that resets your palate.

These new items are available only at Key Coffee inside Lexus Mitsukoshi. The update gives the space a new reason to visit, even for people who walk into Mitsukoshi with no plans beyond a quick break.
