Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Acting Director P/Col. Randy Glenn Silvio on Wednesday warned that the police’s One-Strike Policy will be strictly enforced against anyone caught engaging in indiscriminate firing.

Silvio said the order is in adherence to the directive of Acting Chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP) P/Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. and National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Director P/Maj. Gen. Anthony Aberin to ensure a safe and orderly celebration welcoming 2026.

He reminded all police operatives to observe the highest level of discipline and professionalism.

Silvio said the One-Strike Policy also aligns with the Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas, Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman thrust of the national police, aimed at ensuring the safety of all Quezon City residents as they welcome the New Year.
