The DAILY TRIBUNE celebrated its 25th year with its annual Christmas Party on Thursday, 18 December, held in Ayala Alabang, transforming a milestone anniversary into a symbolic concert led by its own people.
Anchored on the theme “DAILY TRIBUNE’s 25th Year Grand Musical Extravaganza,” the celebration framed the publication’s 25-year journey as a long-running performance, one sustained not by headline artists, but by the employees who have kept the newsroom alive and evolving. Staff members came dressed as their favorite musical artists, reinforcing the idea that the DAILY TRIBUNE’s true stars are the people behind its stories, platforms, and operations.
The program featured a mix of games and raffles, alongside the recognition of outstanding employees, including Best Performers per department, highlighting excellence and dedication across the organization. Adding to the festive atmosphere were performances by employees themselves, with departments taking turns to dance, sing, and act, turning the evening into a showcase of talent, teamwork and creativity.
The celebration was also attended by VIP guests, while a live jazz band provided music throughout the evening, adding to the concert-inspired atmosphere of the event. The presence of guests and live music complemented the festivities without taking focus away from the employee-led performances.
Guests enjoyed a buffet spread, food stalls, a photo booth, and access to the venue’s swimming pool, creating a relaxed and celebratory setting for the year-end gathering.
The DAILY TRIBUNE also extended its gratitude to its generous sponsors for the raffle prizes, whose support added excitement and goodwill to the celebration. More than a holiday party, the event served as a tribute to 25 years of shared effort, resilience and commitment, proving that the music of the publication is, and has always been, created by its people.
