Choco Mucho begins fresh start ahead of new year

Choco Mucho Flying Titans signaled the start of a roster reset before the year ends, announcing on Sunday that the team is parting ways with Aduke Ogunsanya and Bia General.

In two separate social media posts Sunday afternoon, the Flying Titans confirmed the departures of the two players as part of what appears to be a team reboot.

“You defended every point with the heart and courage of a Flying Titan. Wishing you all the best as you take on a new chapter. Thank you, Bia!” the team announced.

The Flying Titans also expressed gratitude to Ogunsanya for “proudly serving” the team and extended their well wishes as she moves on to the next stage of her career.

Former De La Salle University standout Ogunsanya began her professional career with the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers before the team disbanded in 2021, prompting her move to Choco Mucho.

General, meanwhile, previously played for National University before suiting up for multiple club teams in the Philippine Super Liga (PSL). She later transitioned to the Cignal HD Spikers, now known as the Cignal Super Spikers, in the Premier Volleyball League.

Ogunsanya endured multiple anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries on both knees during her stint with the Flying Titans.

Much-needed reset

Choco Mucho failed to reach the semifinals in all conferences of the 2024–2025 season, finishing ninth in the recently concluded PVL Reinforced Conference — results that underscored the need for a reset.
