First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos expressed her appreciation to those who came to the Kalayaan Grounds in Malacañang for “Tara sa Palasyo.”

In the days leading up to Christmas, Mrs. Marcos shared updates on the daily visits to the Palace.

The First Lady said she was delighted to see children enter the Palace grounds and enjoy the attractions set up for families.

In line with the spirit of Simbang Gabi, thousands of children and their parents flocked to Malacañang at night and in the early morning, a tradition observed annually by the First Family by opening the doors of the seat of power to the public.

Open from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. and at 4 a.m., Filipinos of all ages were invited to enjoy the festive holiday atmosphere as the world awaited the birth of Jesus Christ.

Attractions such as claw machines, basketball hoops, carousel rides, trains, space rockets, and drone ships were available for the visitors to enjoy.

These were complemented by holiday delicacies such as puto bumbong and bibingka, adding to the festive cheer at the Palace.

Simbang Gabi activities were held at the Palace for nine days, from 16 to 24 December, alongside the central devotional series of dawn Masses for Filipino Catholics.
