Aboitiz InfraCapital (AIC) has partnered with the Arnold Janssen Kalinga Foundation (AJ Kalinga Foundation) to support individuals experiencing homelessness through a community outreach initiative aimed at restoring dignity and providing basic care.
The activity, dubbed “Care that Creates Brighter Days,” was launched on 10 December 2025 at the AJ Kalinga Foundation facility in Sta. Cruz, Manila. The initiative supported the foundation’s Kain, Aral, Ligo Nang Umayos (KALINGA) Program, which provides meals, hygiene services, education, and values formation for homeless and vulnerable individuals.
During the outreach, Aboitiz InfraCapital team members met with AJ Kalinga’s in-house volunteers, many of whom were formerly homeless and are now preparing to graduate from the foundation’s program. Their stories highlighted how structured support and compassion can help individuals rebuild their lives and regain a sense of purpose.

As part of the immersion, AIC team members assisted in the foundation’s core activities, including helping beneficiaries during bathing sessions, engaging in conversations and light coaching, and serving meals. They also distributed basic donations such as coffee, chocolate drinks, and hygiene essentials, including body wash, to help address immediate needs.
Founded in 2017, the AJ Kalinga Foundation aims to empower homeless individuals through dignified, systematic, and holistic care, with the goal of helping them reintegrate into society.
Aboitiz InfraCapital said the outreach aligns with its Shared Value Creation Framework, which focuses on building self-sufficient and progressive communities by investing in human capital, generating employment opportunities, and promoting environmental stewardship.
The company said initiatives such as Care that Creates Brighter Days reflect its belief that even small acts of kindness can foster hope, strengthen communities, and uplift lives through meaningful human connection.
