Social media personality Toni Fowler ended the year with a deeply personal revelation, sharing that she was recently hospitalized following a health scare linked to her eating habits.

In a Facebook post, Fowler reflected on her upbringing, her fondness for street food, and the difficult realization that caring for one’s health is not about being “maarte,” but about self-love.

“Bago matapos ang taon gusto ko mag share ng pinagdaanan ko,” Fowler wrote, opening her post with a heartfelt confession that resonated with many of her followers.

She explained that she was not raised to be picky with food, noting that her childhood shaped her practical and adventurous approach to eating.

That background, Fowler shared, was why she developed a love for street food, enjoying everything from kwek-kwek to fishballs and isaw, especially the familiar “dos tres” favorites.

However, her fondness for street food eventually had health consequences. Fowler pointed out that not all vendors observe proper food safety practices and that environmental factors can worsen contamination risks.

As a result, Fowler revealed that she developed a bacterial infection that aggravated an existing medical condition.

She ended her post not with fear, but with reflection, turning her experience into a reminder for others. Fowler summed up the lessons she learned in simple but powerful terms:

“Lesson Learned:

1 ahh daddy
