SM City Cabanatuan and SM Megacenter Cabanatuan provided 30 children with special health conditions from the Nueva Ecija Loving Angels Charity Organization Inc. through their annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, ChriSMiles.
With the theme “30 Smiles, One Christmas: SM City Cabanatuan and SM Megacenter Cabanatuan Spread Joy Through ChriSMiles,” the event was held at SM City Cabanatuan in Nueva Ecija on 17 December 2025.
According to mall officials, “The true spirit of Christmas shone brightly as SM City Cabanatuan and SM Megacenter Cabanatuan brought smiles, hope, and heartfelt joy to 30 children with special health conditions.”
Held at the mall’s Christmas centerpiece, the ChriSMiles celebration was designed to give the children a meaningful and memorable Christmas experience.
“Despite the health challenges they bravely face, the children were given a day to simply laugh, play, and feel the love of a community that cares deeply for them,” a mall official said.
The children, together with their families, enjoyed a simple breakfast and a gift-giving activity filled with surprises lovingly prepared by SM employees.
Laughter echoed throughout the venue as SM volunteers sang cheerful Christmas songs and mascots made delightful appearances, bringing excitement and genuine happiness to the children. Every smile shared that day served as a reminder of how small acts of kindness can create lasting joy.
Representatives from the Nueva Ecija Loving Angels Charity Organization Inc. expressed their heartfelt gratitude to SM for its continued support for children with special health needs.
The organization emphasized that initiatives like ChriSMiles uplift not only the children but also their families, offering moments of hope and encouragement during challenging times.
