Residents from several barangays in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, were served on Monday, 22 December, as the city government rolled out the Alisto Serbisyo Caravan, a mobile initiative that brings government services closer to communities.
According to Mayor James Bryan Alcid, the program follows the earlier Asenso Caravan implemented under the previous administration and focuses on reaching both urban and rural barangays.
The caravan provides a mix of services, ranging from basic consultations to medical, technical, and other specialized assistance, aimed at residents who may have limited access to city offices. City officials said the activity is funded through the Mayor’s Office and the Community Affairs and Development Office.
