Converge ICT Solutions has powered Asia’s first Speedtest Certified™ hotel after Best Western Plus Metro Clark earned official certification from Ookla® for its wireless network performance.
Ookla, a global leader in connectivity intelligence and a division of Ziff Davis, independently verified that the hotel’s wireless network met the standards of its Speedtest Certified program, confirming fast and reliable WiFi access throughout the property.
The certification was made possible through Converge Global Business, the enterprise arm of Converge, which equipped the hotel with high-capacity fiber connectivity and its hospitality solution, Content Plus. The network is supported by a 3,000 Mbps fiber backhaul, designed to ensure stable performance even during peak guest usage.
Speedtest Certified is a network verification program that evaluates real-world internet quality using Ookla’s testing methodology. Best Western Plus Metro Clark posted a score of 72.5 out of 100, exceeding the minimum threshold of 70 required for certification.
