Pinay Tankers deliver Phl's second gold

BANGKOK, Thailand β€” The Philippines closed Day 1 of competition in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games with its second gold medal, courtesy of the women’s 4x100 freestyle swimming relay team.

π™·πšŽπšŠπšπš‘πšŽπš› πš†πš‘πš’πšπšŽ, π™²πš‘πš•πš˜πšŽ π™Έπšœπš•πšŽπšπšŠ, πš‡πš’πšŠπš—πšπš’ π™²πš‘πšžπšŠ, and π™ΊπšŠπš’πš•πšŠ πš‚πšŠπš—πšŒπš‘πšŽπš£ clocked 3:44.26 to secure the top podium finish on Wednesday night at the Aquatic Center inside the Huamark Sports Complex.

Singapore bagged silver at 3:46.53, while Vietnam claimed bronze with 3:47.47.

The relay team’s victory added to the earlier gold delivered by taekwondo jin Justin Kobe Macario in the men’s individual freestyle poomsae event at the Fashion Island Shopping Mall.
