Barangay Ginebra finally got back-to-back wins after beating Blackwater, 103-85, in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Philippine Cup at the Yanres Center in Antipolo City.

RJ Abarrientos dropped 15 points as the Kings improved to a 4-4 win-loss record.

Head coach Tim Cone said he emphasized that they are still tweaking as they look to solidify their spot in the quarterfinals.

“We needed a really good performance tonight, being in the middle of the standings. We’re still searching for ourselves a little bit at this point. Tonight’s game is definitely crucial," Cone said.

Stephen Holt and Jeremiah Gray scored 12 points for the Kings.

Dalph Panopio led the Bossing with 22 points but fell short as they dropped to a 1-8 record.

Panopio and Abu Tratter, who scored 12 points, will shift their focus for Gilas Pilipinas as they compete in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Thailand.
