The celebrations began with a joyful double occasion: the birthday of Randolph Libres and the 53rd wedding anniversary of Boboy and Irma Atillo.

Family and close friends came to honor the celebrators, filing the gathering with warmth, laughter, heartfelt toasts and stories that reflected the celebrators kindness, authenticity and the lasting friendships they have cultivated through the years. It was an evening that not only celebrated milestones but also highlighted the deep bond and shared memories that make these relationships truly special.

Capping the week’s festivities was the Christmas tree Lighting Ceremony at the Waterfront Hotel Cebu. Due to the extensive devastation in Cebu, the hotel chose to keep this year’s observance simple, with employees serving as the sole witnesses. Cebu GM Ali Banting shared that the holiday theme “Wings of Hope” is dedicated to the victims and communities affected by the recent earthquake and typhoon that struck the region.

He further stated that even in the face of the fiercest storms and calamities, our spirits remain unbroken. “We stand with everyone offering not just hope but real, tangible support as we move together through this journey of rebuilding.”

The towering centerpiece beautifully adorned with classic Christmas elements such as intricately designed angels and iridescent accents set the tone for the season of giving. The hotel’s welcoming ambiance combined with the sparkle of the simple ceremony created an atmosphere of hope, celebration and togetherness.

These three events, each meaningful in their own way, reminded everyone that life’s moments whether personal milestones or community traditions, are best celebrated with gratitude, love and shared with joy.
