Liza Soberano created a stir on social media as a photo of her dinner date with Japanese actor Kento Yamazaki at a fancy restaurant in New York City was splattered online.
Yamazaki is best known for his live action film series Death Note, Another and Your Lie in April. He had been in a romance with Suzu Hirose and they broke just thid year.

Rumors on ‘Batang Quiapo’ shock netizens
Rumors of late about Batang Quiapo have jolted some netizens as they didn’t see it coming.
One rumor said that the Coco Martin TV starrer, a perennial number one on the ratings game, will air it final episode on 2 January 2026.
Another rumor made it appear that Batang Quiapo’s new season will make a resurgence not on TV 5 but GMA-7. It is being reported on social media that Batang Quiapo will replace Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’ gre in the Kapuso network in February.
Of course, these are unconfirmed reports since no one had given any statement on the changes of programming from the Kapamilya network.
Guy asks his removal in viral Ivana Alawi vlog
An ordinary guy, Vio Pineda Javier, who appeared in the now-viral vlog of Ivana Alawi, became a dartboard of online bashing.
As he found himself a victim of relentless online bashing, Javier, in an emotional online post, pleaded with the celebrity vlogger to delete his appearance in the vlog as his life was turned upside down because of the incident.
In the vlog, Alawi and Javier had a short exchange, which led the former to react: “Hindi naman ako madumi… bakit ka lumalayo sa’kin?”
This had netizens relentlessly mocking and bashing Javier.
In his online post, Javier said that he wasn’t disrespectful of Alawi the entire time they were in the video. He even invited the actress to join him in his lunch.
Exasperated over the uncalled for online hate, Javier pleaded to Alawi: “Ma’am, ang daming nagba-bash… pinagtatawanan ako, sinasabihang wala akong galang. Sana po mapabura sa’kin (Ma’am there are so many bashing me...I was being laughed at, saying I don’t have respect. I hope you can erase me (in the video).”
Alawi responded on Javier’s online aria and said that he was aware of his participation in the vlog which was why his face was not blurred. Alawi believes Javier was miffed because he was taunted by his friends for not getting the 100K prize which went to another guy.
