A female member of the Militiang Bayan/NPA surrendered to authorities at Brgy. Maguisguis in the Town of Botolan, Zambales on 5 December 2025.
The operating units of Zambales 1st PMFC (lead unit) together with other authorities facilitated the voluntary surrender of the 66 year-old janitress.
The surrender took place at the Zambales 1st PMFC Headquarters at Brgy. Malimanga in the Town of Candelaria, Zambales.
The subject voluntarily turned over one Caliber .38 revolver without serial number, one piece ammunition and pieces of Subversive documents.
The operating units ensured the safe and proper documentation of the surrendered individual and confiscated items.
She is currently under the custody of Zambales 1st PMFC for tactical interrogation to gather vital information that may support future police operations. Initial financial assistance has also been provided.
“The Zambales 1st PMFC continues to strengthen peace initiatives, encourage more voluntary surrenders, and promote a safer and more peaceful community for all," the Zambales 1st PMFC said.
