A night of lights and gratitude: Mandarin Premier celebrates partners in Boracay

Boracay glowed a little brighter as Mandarin Premier Hotels and Resorts Group welcomed partners, media guests, and friends from Manila and across Asia to its vibrant celebration, Masks and Lights: An Evening of Celebration and Recognition. Blending heartfelt gratitude with the island’s effortless charm, the three-day gathering became a testament to the relationships that continue to shape and elevate hospitality in Boracay.

The experience opened with a calming retreat at the Mandarin Spa, where media guests enjoyed signature therapies designed to soothe the senses and reset the spirit. This intimate pampering session set the tone for a weekend rooted in relaxation, connection, and rediscovering what makes the Mandarin Premier brand beloved among travelers.

Culinary indulgence took center stage next, as invited guests explored the rich flavors of Mandarin Bay Resort & Spa’s dining destinations. From festive Filipino comfort at La Fiesta to the rustic warmth of homemade Italian favorites at Mamma Mia Ristorante Italiano, every meal showcased the Group’s philosophy of crafting food with care, creativity, and a keen attention to detail.

Guests were then treated to a curated familiarization tour spanning three of the Group’s landmark properties—Mandarin Bay Resort & Spa, Mandarin Nest, and the beachfront gem Mandarin Island Hotel. Each stop featured thoughtfully designed spaces, elevated amenities, and the signature touches that define Filipino hospitality at its finest. The tour revealed a shared DNA across all properties: genuine warmth, exceptional service, and an unwavering commitment to guest delight.

The celebration reached its pinnacle during the main event on November 27 at the newly opened Mandarin Bay Convention Center. Marking both a night of recognition and the Group’s third annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony, the evening radiated optimism and unity. Despite nationwide economic hurdles, Managing Director Lily Po uplifted the room with a message anchored in faith, strength, and solidarity.

She said, “Thank you so much for being here and for continuing to work with us despite the challenges happening in our country. Our economy is affected, but with God’s guidance and provisions, everything will get better. We just have to pray about it, and surely, we will get through all of this together, through thick and thin.”

The festivities carried on with La Fiesta’s signature Prime Rib Buffet, spirited performances by Mandarin Nest’s viral dancers, and heartfelt acknowledgments celebrating the partnerships that fuel Mandarin Premier’s mission. In her closing message, Po expressed deep appreciation for the people who continue to champion the Group’s vision.

“Thank you for taking your precious time to be with us today. We truly value your partnership, and we assure you that we will continue doing our very best to provide exceptional service to all your clients, our guests, so they can create unforgettable experiences and cherished memories to take home. And of course, so they will book again with you. Finally, I would like to greet everyone an advanced Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year 2026. I am praying for everyone’s good health and for all the best in life.”

As the night drew to a close, one message shone as brightly as the illuminated tree at the center of the hall: Mandarin Premier Hotels and Resorts Group remains steadfast in its promise to deliver meaningful, memorable stays—where world-class facilities meet the authentic, heartfelt hospitality that makes the Philippines truly extraordinary.
