A group of non-teaching personnel expressed its gratitude to the Department of Education (DepEd) management for supporting the union, particularly in making the 2025 Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) incentive possible.
Department of Education–National Employees’ Union (DepEd-NEU) national president Atty. Domingo Alidon said the DepEd management promised to grant more or less P10,000 for the 2025 CNA incentive.
“We appreciate such declaration by the management through Undersecretary for Operations Malcom Garma,” Alidon said in a statement.
Alidon also noted the management’s support for union activities, including the holding of assemblies and conferences.
He said the recently concluded 17th DepEd-NEU national congress in Baguio City “could have not been successful had it not [been] for the support of the management and its officials from central, regional, divisional, and school level.”
“In behalf of DepEd-NEU members and officers, thank you DepEd for supporting the union’s activities and in recognizing that non-teaching personnel are the backbone of the department without which DepEd will never stand,” he added.
