Masshiro expands glutathione lineup to match varying consumer health goals

Masshiro has introduced a lineup of glutathione products formulated to match varying wellness goals, offering consumers more options based on intended use and absorption profile.

According to the company, the range includes four variants: Masshiro Glutathione Free Form, Masshiro Reduced Form Glutathione, Liposomal Glutathione, and Masshiro S-Acetyl-Glutathione (GSH-SAG). The core molecule remains the same, but the forms differ in production processes and formulation strategies, which affect stability, bioavailability, and delivery inside the body.

“For health-focused aims, we recommend Masshiro®️ S-Acetyl Glutathione and Masshiro®️ Reduced Glutathione, while for skin-health or glutathione augmentation goals, Masshiro Glutathione Free Form or Masshiro Liposomal Glutathione may be more suitable,” the company noted.

Masshiro originates in Japan, with raw materials sourced from various areas across Asia. The design focus, it added, centers on Asian consumers and regional efficacy. Patent and procedural specifics vary per formulation, but the company stressed that customers should evaluate products based on efficacy, availability, and cost.

OSPA®️ Korean Beauty Corp. partners with Masshiro to supply branded raw materials and provide in-house manufacturing. The partnership “ensur[es] consistent quality across Masshiro products,” the company said.

The brand added that its glutathione forms are aligned with clinical research considerations and regulatory expectations. It emphasized that claims must be based on rigorous study designs, such as clinical trials when available, and that regulatory status may differ by jurisdiction.

Consumers are encouraged to review labels, sourcing information, and third-party testing to determine suitability and safety.

Masshiro said it maintains a wide sourcing network to support diverse formulations while upholding global quality standards.
