The Philippines closed its FIFA Futsal Women's World Cup campaign with a 1-5 loss to Argentina on Thursday at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.
Lara Villalba opened the scoring just 90 seconds in, followed by goals from Mailen Romero (4th), Luciana Natta (4th), Agostina Chiesa (7th), and Melina Quevedo (7th) as the Argentines won all their games in Group A.
Isabella Bandoja was able to score for the Filipina5 in the 28th minute in front of 2,800 fans.
The Philippines lost all of its games in the Futsal Women's World Cup, losing 0-6 to Poland before suffering a heartbreaking 2-3 defeat at the hands of Morocco.
Apaet from Bandoja, Inday Tolentin and Cathrine Graversen were the only goalscorers for the Filipina5 in the tournament.
