Palomata signs with Medan in Indonesia's ProLiga

Seasoned middle blocker Dell Palomata is taking her act abroad after signing with the Medan Falcons in Indonesia’s ProLiga.

The PLDT standout will begin suiting up for Medan in January 2026.

Palomata, one of Alas Pilipinas’ main weapons, is expected to bring the same tenacity and net presence for the Falcons much like what she does for the High Speed Hitters in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL).

Before heading into the next chapter of her booming volleyball career, the 6-foot-3 veteran is determined to power PLDT into a breakthrough crown in the ongoing 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference.

The High Speed Hitters eliminated sister team Cignal, 25-21, 25-18, 23-25, 25-21, in the quarterfinal on Monday to set up a knockout Final Four showdown against second-seeded ZUS Coffee on Thursday.

PLDT is looking to win a third straight title after sweeping both the inaugural On Tour and foreign guest-team flavored Invitational.

Palomata, who was named Best Middle Blocker in the AVC Challenge Cup where Alas won a historic silver medal and a vital cog in the team’s back-to-back bronze in the Southeast Asian V.League, will try to give the national squad a podium finish in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Thailand next month before joining Medan.
