Not a few fans felt delighted when Kim Chiu was photographed while giving Gerald Anderson beso-beso during the recent Star Magical Christmas 2025 where the former was given the 20-Year Loyalty Award because she is part of Star Magic for two decades.
Chiu and Anderson became a couple after their Pinoy Big Brother stint. They were known then as Kimerald, the portmanteau for their love team.
But after more than three years, the two parted ways. Anderson romanced Bea Alonzo and then Julia Barretto who were all his exes now.
Meanwhile, Chiu is romantically-linked with her The Alibi leading man, Paulo Avelino.
“Your talent will bring you in the room and open doors for you but your attitude will define how long those doors will open,” Chiu said in her speech after receiving her loyalty award from Star Magic.
Chiu also stressed the value of being grateful for the opportunities, big or small, that is being given to anyone and to not forget the people who helped you when you were just starting in the business.

When a magazine held a grand shindig attended by creme dela creme in fashion, beauty and business, a lot of its attendees decided to hop into the chichi bar for an after-party recap. The beauty queen, a young socialite and a former model came inside the bar and quietly settled in one corner. No sooner had she gotten comfy a son of a seasoned controversial personality came in. A few minutes later, Sarah Lahbati entered the chichi bar. The young socialite, apparently didn’t like Lahbati’s presence. She told her dad, a business mogul, about Lahbati’s entrance. The next scene? The business mogul was seen talking to the uniformed guys. After that, Lahbati was approached by some guys and was requested to leave the premises. Although shocked, the actress obliged with no fuss, just customers pretending not to see her being escorted out of the bar. So, why was Lahbati asked to leave in a huff? It’s because the young socialite was reportedly the ex-girlfriend of the son of the controversial personality whom Lahbati is romantically linked with. Does that make sense now?

Taking the directorial reins is something that Richard Gutierrez is not about to jump into at the moment.
“There’s right timing and right project for it,” he mused during the presscon for Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins where he is featured in the final episode.
Shooting SRR was no walk in the park as revealed by Gutierrez.
“It wasn’t easy. It’s very challenging not only for us actor especially the designer, the art department. They did a good job in creating a world where everything is devastated,” he said.
In a capsule, he described the third episode of SRR: “In our world, money has no value, possessions have no value. It’s all about survival and living everyday as if it’s your last. That’s the theme of episode three.”
