Velza Global hosted a press conference at Gallio Events Hall on Saturday evening, inviting media to what it described as the arrival of Tonino Lamborghini Luxury Beverages in the Philippines.
The event, billed as “an evening of power, prestige, and passion,” included a product presentation and a live video call with executives from the Italian lifestyle brand.
Velza Global presented the launch as a celebration of “the fusion of Italian heritage and Filipino excellence,” with the energy drink highlighted as the first product in what the company suggests could be a broader rollout of lifestyle offerings.
During the program, Ajit Narapareddy, ceo of Velza Global, addressed guests with an overview of the company’s projections and aspirations for the Philippine market.
He described the country as a strong environment for energy drink consumption and noted that their team sees significant potential for expansion.
“The Philippines is one of the most exciting markets we have studied,” he said, adding that their goal is to introduce the brand “with a scale the region has not seen.”
Narapareddy also outlined several forward-looking plans, including local production, regional exports, and future ventures into liquor, coffee distribution, and eventually café outlets.
These concepts were presented as part of Velza Global’s vision rather than finalized timelines. “We want the Philippines to be our hub for Southeast Asia,” he said.
A key segment of the evening was a live video appearance by Paolo Zannoni, general manager of Tonino Lamborghini.
Speaking via video call from Europe, he expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration and described it as an opportunity to introduce the brand’s lifestyle philosophy to a new market.
“We are excited about bringing our portfolio to the Philippines,” Zannoni said, mentioning that the company’s beverages, accessories, and design projects form part of a broader global lifestyle identity.
The event serves as the start of a developing story as Velza Global begins its efforts to introduce the brand’s beverage line to local consumers.
If the plans presented during the event progress as outlined, these could open opportunities for creating new jobs, with potential benefits for domestic businesses and the economy as well.
