vivo V60 Lite debuts with 50MP Sony IMX882 camera for enhanced portraits

Smartphone brand vivo has introduced the V60 Lite to the Philippine market, highlighting a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main camera as its key feature for users who want both gaming performance and advanced portrait imaging.

According to vivo, the camera is built with a large 1/1.95-inch sensor designed to capture more light than standard smartphone sensors, allowing for sharper and more detailed shots in day and night conditions.

The V60 Lite also offers an upgraded Portrait Mode that adjusts lighting, skin tone, and depth to produce background blur similar to professional camera lenses. The feature is supported by the AI Master HD Algorithm, Super Noise Reduction Engine, and the brand’s Self-Developed Super Night Algorithm for improved sharpness and tone accuracy in low-light environments.

vivo said the phone is intended for users who want a device suitable for social media content creation — including TikTok, Instagram, and livestream platforms — while maintaining the performance needed for gaming and multitasking.

The company positioned the device as a “portable creative tool,” citing its ability to capture stories and expressive portraits in a range of lighting conditions.

The vivo V60 Lite is now available starting at P14,999 through TikTok Shop, the vivo website, Shopee, and vivo concept stores, kiosks, and authorized dealers nationwide.
