The 7th Infantry “Kaugnay” Division (7ID) of the Philippine Army held a Change of Chief of Office Ceremony for the Office of the Chief of Staff (OCS) at the Bulwagang Tinyente Bandong, Kaugnay Officers' Club House, Headquarters 7ID in Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija on 19 November 2025.
7ID Commander Major General Joseph Norwin D. Pasamonte presided over the ceremony and led the turnover of responsibilities, emphasizing the value of continuity and strong leadership in sustaining the Division’s mission readiness.
Outgoing Chief of Staff Brigadier General Ronald M. Bautista thanked the personnel of 7ID for their support and cooperation throughout his tenure. He highlighted their collective efforts in maintaining the high standards of discipline and excellence of the Kaugnay Division.
Incoming Chief of Staff Col. Ronnel B. Dela Cruz GSC (INF) accepted his new assignment and expressed his gratitude and commitment to strengthen staff coordination, administrative systems, and operational support across the Division.
In his remarks, Pasamonte recognized the contributions of both officers and underscored the importance of professionalism and a seamless transition to keep 7ID responsive to national security tasks.
The ceremony featured the turnover of office symbols, the presentation of awards, and the singing of the 7ID Hymn—reaffirming unity, service, and dedication to duty.
