Rep. Pulong Duterte fires a scathing response to DILG Sec. Jonvic Remulla’s remarks linking rallies and criticism to “sedition.”
He reminds officials that freedom of speech, expression and assembly aren’t optional — they’re in the Constitution.
Duterte also questions where AFP’s billions in budget really went, citing outdated weapons and alleged “ghost projects.”
“Konting rally, sedition. Konting tanong, sedition. Bawal na ba mag-demand ng transparency?” Duterte said.
“Not every criticism is a threat to national security. Minsan, nakakasilaw lang talaga ang katotohanan.”
