Yes, actress Andrea Brillantes, 22, is Tanduay Calendar Girl 2026. She was launched on the sultry night of 14 November at The Elements events hall at Eton Centris at EDSA, Quezon City.
Is her talent fee a whopping P10 million?
She and her new manager (after she didn’t renew her ABS-CBN Star Magic contract), Shirley Kwan, may never announce Brillantes’ Tanduay Calendar Girl talent fee.Pinoy showbiz idols may show off multi-million peso properties but it is not customary for them to reveal their talent fees. Does the non-disclosure have something to do with tax payment?
The P10 million we’re imagining Brillantes was paid to pose variously at her sexiest and almost naked is the reportedly offered talent fee to actress Nadine Lustre to be a softdrink endorser, which she flatly turned down.
Lustre, according to a tabloid editor’s column declined the offer simply because she doesn’t drink the beverage at all. She has been into a healthy vegan lifestyle for some time now and it does not include taking softdrinks.
If this yarn about Lustre’s turning down a P10–million offer, she’s so much more respectable than some of our senators and congressmen who demand a few millions from contractors for approved infrastructure projects. It’s a few millions for several projects, of course, and those “several” can sum up to higher than P10 million.
The Brillantes Tanduay 2026 calendar comes in six variants. There’s only photo of her for a full year and her photo occupies about 90 percent of each calendar. All photos are from head-to-thighs. She is in bikini in five pics and one that has her breast and genital area covered with rose petals, making it look like she is naked under those petals.
At the media launch, she proudly announced that the concept for that pose and set-up was her own and she argued with the calendar’s artistic team for its execution.
If anyone finds that pose very bold, she has an upcoming project, which she hinted at the media launch would have a scene even more daring than the one she pulled off in Batang Quiapo. It could be the film she’s set to do for MQuest to which she has moved from ABS-CBN.
That forthcoming film might have her doing an even more passionate intimate scene and more skin showing than she had in Batang Quiapo which seems to be her last assignment with the media-entertainment conglomerate.
Brillantes is bent on showing off how much of an adult (adulterated?) she has become after her ex-boyfriend cager Riccie Rivero once revealed that she spends some nights with him in his pad and would have lived-in with him had her parents not mightily objected to it. The young actress did not deny Rivero’s revelation.
Well, Brillantes going very bold in a film to be shown in movie houses, and not in a streaming platform, would surely be welcomed by movie companies and film directors who persistently believe that films should be enjoyed in public movie houses as a communal event, not private or solitary.
Beside Brillantes’ head in each photo of her Tanduay calendar, left or right side, is the campaign line “Tanduay The World’s No. 1 Rum.” To the left or to the right of Brillantes’ thigh is a photo of a Tanduay product, including cocktails (mixed drinks).
If you put up Brillantes’ Tanduay Calendar in one wall of a living room, that calendar will be the scene stealer, the main attraction. If the males put it up in the wall of their bedroom facing them when they go to bed, they would be like worshipping Brillantes every night for as long as the calendar is not removed from the wall.
It wasn’t revealed at the media launch how many bottles of Tanduay products an adult person should buy for them to be rewarded with a Brillantes calendar.
