Ellen Adarna, in her tell-all IG stories, compared her ex-partner John Lloyd Cruz with her husband Derek Ramsay.
While she was all praises for Cruz’s parenting style, Adarna seemingly raised her eyebrows when it comes to Ramsay’s display of fatherhood.
Last Monday, 17 November, Adarna unabashedly revealed Ramsay’s infidelity when a well-meaning friend told her about her husband’s “side chick” three weeks ago.
A fan asked, “Maiba naman (on another topic), are you and JL ok?”
Through a video, Adarna replied: “With JL (I have nothing to say). I have nothing but good things to say about him, you know. We had differences in the past but I respect him because he is a very good provider. He is honest and he is a very present father.”
Adarna revealed the actor made an effort to see his son during his birthday.
“Take note na noong naghiwalay kami ni JL (when JL and I are already separated), that was before Elias turned one year old, present siya.”
During the pandemic, Cruz made an effort to see his son.
“He would charter a private plane for Elias during Covid (pandemic) just to see his son,” Adarna revealed.
When Adarna and Ramsay’s daughter’s first birthday came, the latter was missing even if he was sent an invite which had one netizen asking: “Why did you let Derek miss your daughter’s first birthday party?”
“He was sent an invite, but he chose not to go.”
“He was doing frisbee or golf somewhere — so important, right? So there, he was sent an invite, and just two of his family came: his sister and his nephew. That’s it. He had a choice,” Adarna replied.
Adarna posted a series of “receipts” or screenshots of Ramsay’s exchange of messages with his “side chick” last 13 February 2021. Based on her timeline, she and Ramsay were officially a couple nine days before the date of the chat she discovered.
Why Gerald Anderson takes pride with ‘Sins of the Father’ impact on audiences
Gerald Anderson is incredibly proud of how ABS-CBN’s crime action-drama, “Sins of the Father,” helped shed light on widespread scams and fraud as the most watched series on iWant ends this week.
“I will miss playing Samuel because of the impact and social awareness of our show. It’s about corruption and scams, which is very timely. It has been an amazing journey and I’m very grateful,” the Kapamilya actor said.
Anderson revealed that he, too, was a victim of online fraud.
“I need to block my credit card because someone used it to buy something in dollars. How can that happen when I’m in the Philippines? There were even instances where my father and my mom supposedly asked for money from fans. That was embarrassing,” he recalled.
“It’s frightening because what about normal people who lost P10,000, P15,000, of their salary?” he said.
Anderson mentioned the proliferation of Love Scam where he cited a female fan fell in love with Brad Pitt.
One of the show’s directors, FM Reyes, affirmed Gerald’s perspective, adding that the series represents their commitment to bringing awareness on social issues.
“This is our little way of presenting to the public all the perspectives of corruption in our lives. From the victims who condone the scamming business and from those who run it. Higit sa lahat (More than anything) it gave a voice to those who are voiceless,” Reyes said.
