Converge unveiled its latest internet services Wednesday, promising affordable plans for all users — from content creators and videographers to anyone who just loves a fast and stable connection.
Officials from the internet provider revealed three exclusive plans: the upgraded Super FiberX ULTRA, Super FiberX PRIME, and GameChanger EZ.
Unveiled by JP Aguilar, senior vice president and Consumer Business Group head, Super FiberX ULTRA is introduced as the most affordable 1 Gbps plan yet, previously offered at 800 Mbps.
Despite the 200 Mbps increase in speed, it is still priced at ₱2,599 per month. Moreover, the plan comes with a dedicated Wi-Fi 6 modem that can handle multiple devices, the Converge Xperience Hub, and a SkyTV Premium subscription that unlocks 86 channels.
For subscribers seeking high-end speed at a more affordable price, Converge introduced Super FiberX PRIME, offering speeds up to 800 Mbps for ₱2,099 per month.
Like the ULTRA, it comes with a dedicated Wi-Fi 6 modem, the Converge Xperience Hub, and a SkyTV Standard subscription with 60 channels.
According to Anthony Esporlas, Converge’s senior product manager, the plan outpaces and outvalues the competition, offering 100 Mbps more for up to ₱800 less — roughly 14 percent more speed at 35 percent lower cost.
ULTRA or PRIME?
Aguilar then guided subscribers or prospective applicants on choosing between ULTRA or PRIME.
“Both plans are kinda high-speed. Basically, the target market for the other plan, which is the 1Gbps or the Ultra, are those bigger households — the ones with a lot of residents, because they need additional bandwidth, if they want to be able to use the Internet,” Aguilar explained.
He said that if it’s a medium-sized household, the 800 Mbps Super FiberX PRIME plan would suffice.
And for the gamers..
Converge also launched GameChanger EZ, the country’s first plan specifically for gamers, offering speeds up to 400 Mbps for ₱1,800 per month.
Among those who graced the launch was Myrtle Sarrosa, a.k.a. Yuwin, who highlighted the importance of uninterrupted, high-speed connectivity.
“With the GameChanger EZ, it’s now easier to dominate online games. It really lives up to its name because it’s a true game-changer for us,” she said.
According to Sandra Zira Tubale-Dingal, Converge’s AVP and head of consumer marketing, the plan allows gamers to enjoy network prioritization, low latency, and low jitter. The Wi-Fi 6 modem included in Converge’s Fiber plans offers up to three times better wireless performance, with improved speed, coverage, and device management.
For new FiberX subscribers, 300 winners will be chosen to win a Samsung 55-inch QLED TV worth ₱34,000. The nationwide raffle is open to all new FiberX customers who subscribe from 15 November to 31 December. Winners will be announced 15 January 2026.
