Authorities here have arrested a suspect in possession of an illegal firearm at Barangay Lamao in the town of Limay, Bataan on 12 November 2025.
According to Limay Municipal Police Station (MPS) chief Police Major Jimmy Albert Decin, the suspect was arrested by the joint personnel of Limay MPS, 2nd PMFC, and PIU Bataan during the implementation of a search warrant.
The said male suspect was in possession of one unit Cal. 45 pistol (black/gold in color); one piece Cal. 45 magazine loaded with seven live ammunition; one black holster; and one blue sling bag.
The arrested suspect and confiscated evidence were brought to Limay MPS for documentation and proper disposition. A criminal complaint for Violation of R.A. 10591 is being prepared against the suspect.
