The personnel of the Provincial Highway Patrol Team (PHPT) Bulacan arrested a 39-year-old male resident of Obando, Bulacan, on 10 November 2025.
According to the Philippine National Police–Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG), a manhunt operation in Bulacan resulted in the arrest of alias Katleya, a wanted person for violation of Republic Act No. 10883 (The New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016), on November 10, 2025 at around 5:55 p.m.
The operation took place within the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Bocaue, by virtue of a warrant issued by Hon. Reuben Ritzuko Teshiba Veradio, Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 104 in Malolos City, Bulacan, for violation of RA 10883 under Criminal Case Nos. 6274-M-2025 and 6208-M-2025, with a recommended bail of P300,000.
The arrest was carried out peacefully, and the suspect was immediately apprised of his constitutional rights. The implementation was properly recorded using an Alternative Recording Device (ARD) in compliance with Supreme Court A.M. No. 21-06-08-SC on the Use of Body-Worn Cameras and ARDs in the Execution of Warrants.
The arrested individual remains under the custody of BJMP Bocaue for documentation and processing prior to the return of the warrant to the court of origin.
