Spain presents November cultural program

Music, education and literature take center stage as the Embassy of Spain, through its Cultural and Education offices and the Instituto Cervantes, presents its November cultural program.

Spanish baritone Luis Llaneza will hold masterclasses at the University of Santo Tomás on 14 November and at the Philippine Women’s University on 19 November, culminating in a performance at UST on 22 November.

Spain also showcases its cinema at QCinema, a 10-day international film festival starting 14 November, and encourages youth to explore higher education opportunities at the European Higher Education Fair in Robinsons Manila starting 21 November, featuring 13 Spanish universities.

Educational outreach continues with marine biologist Isabel Nuñez, visiting schools to discuss reef preservation, and architects Juan Ramón Jiménez and Jesús Pulido, presenting Architecture and Urban Planning during the Spanish Period at the National University on 28 November.

The Spanish women’s futsal team will engage students and young audiences in Manila while competing at the FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup 2025 at PhilSports Arena on 22, 25 and 28 November.
