The Port Management Office Marinduque-Quezon (PMO MarQuez) of the Philippine Ports Authority, together with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), distributed a total of 52 ready-to-eat food packs to passengers temporarily staying in the designated evacuation area in Lucena City.
Aside from those in the evacuation area, one passenger who was sick and experienced difficulty in breathing was immediately given medical attention and brought to Quezon Medical Center for appropriate treatment.
PMO MarQuez leadership reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of passengers, especially during inclement weather, through continued cooperation and prompt action in coordination with the local government and other maritime agencies.
