Naval Forces Southern Luzon aids pregnant woman in Libon, Albay

The Disaster Response and Rescue Team of Naval Forces Southern Luzon (NAVFORSOL) swiftly responded to an emergency call concerning a pregnant woman in urgent need of assistance in Zone 6-B, Barangay San Agustin, Libon, Albay.

The patient, identified as Josie Alma Seda, 34, was in critical condition when the call was received. 

Acting immediately, the NAVFORSOL rescue team mobilized to the location, providing prompt aid and ensuring the safety of both mother and child.

Later on, Seda was safely transported to the Libon Rural Health Unit (RHU), where she received timely medical care for the delivery of her baby.

NAVFORSOL assured it “continues to stand ready to assist local communities during emergencies and uphold its commitment to humanitarian service and public safety.”
