The Department of Justice (DOJ) has postponed the initial hearing for the preliminary investigation into five cases involving alleged irregularities in flood control projects in Bulacan, following the suspension of government work due to Super Typhoon Uwan.

DOJ spokesperson Atty. Polo Martines announced Monday that the hearing, originally scheduled for 10 November 2025, has been moved to 14 November 2025, Friday, provided that all subpoenas have been properly served by that time. During the rescheduled session, respondents are expected to receive copies of the complaints filed against them.

“This adjustment ensures that all parties can participate despite the disruptions caused by the typhoon,” Martines said, adding that the DOJ is coordinating to complete all required notifications.

The preliminary investigation will determine whether formal charges will be filed in connection with the alleged ghost or irregularly executed flood control projects in Bulacan.
