City Ordinance No. 2025-A-024 provides P3,500 to every student in day care, pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and elementary, and P7,000 to every junior and senior high school students. Half of the amount is to be released in June and the balance in December.

Each student also will receive a monthly allocation of 5 kilos of rice from the City Education Department and the Makati Social Welfare Department.

“No parent should have to choose between their child’s next meal and their school needs. We are lifting that burden by committing to every Makati family: your child’s future matters to us, and we’re here to help you protect it,” Makati Mayor Nancy Binay said, adding that the city is committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to finish school and pursue a brighter future.
