Bosch Car Service Philippines now has a clear reply. The network has been formally recognized as the first independent workshop group in the country that is authorized and equipped to handle both electric and hybrid vehicles, from basic checks to high-voltage battery work. The announcement was sealed in a signing ceremony in Cavite on 7 November 2025 and builds on its partnership with ACMobility.
Geronimo Campilan, general manager of Bosch Car Service Philippines, explains that the goal is simple. If Filipinos are being asked to trust new technology, they should not have to worry about where to bring their cars for proper care. The partnership with ACMobility is meant to give owners more convenient, reliable options close to where they live or work, instead of relying only on a few dealer sites.
According to Paulo Duarte, managing director of Bosch Philippines, electric mobility demands more than just new models. It requires safe handling of high voltage components, correct diagnosis, and technicians who know exactly what they are doing. The company has put focus on training and certification so that local teams are not guessing when they work on an EV or hybrid.
The development also aligns with the broader push within the Ayala Group, through ACMobility, to build an end-to-end mobility ecosystem. Apart from distributing brands such as Kia and BYD and operating dealer networks, ACMobility has been rolling out EV charging hubs in key areas across Luzon and expanding toward Visayas and Mindanao.
Having EV-capable workshops in the same ecosystem makes ownership more straightforward. Drivers can charge, drive and service their vehicles with fewer unknowns.
