Typhoon Uwan (international name: Fung-Wong) intensified on Saturday morning as it continued its path toward the Philippine landmass. PAGASA has warned that the storm is expected to reach super typhoon strength by Saturday night or Sunday morning.
In anticipation of severe weather, several major malls across the country are offering free overnight parking and temporary shelter for those affected.
Ayala Malls will open designated areas as temporary shelters, with waiting areas and restrooms available beyond mall hours. Overnight parking fees will be waived on November 8 and 9.
