The Philippine Army's 7th Infantry (Kaugnay) Division is on full alert for the incoming Super Typhoon Uwan at Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija, on 07 November 2025.

According to Major General Joseph Norwin Pasamonte, all Disaster Response Units of the Joint Task Force Kaugnay are preparing for the possible effects of the super typhoon.

Since 05 November, the Emergency Monitoring and Action Centers have been activated to ensure swift coordination and immediate response within the Joint Operational Area.

Super Typhoon Uwan is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility this Sunday.

Joint Task Force Kaugnay units have already inventoried Search, Rescue, and Retrieval Teams and prepositioned equipment in strategic locations. Liaison officers have also been delegated to the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) and Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils (LDRRMCs) in Region III and Pangasinan for close coordination with government agencies.

Major Gen.

(“The 7th Infantry Division is ready to assist our communities. We call on everyone to stay alert, follow authorities’ advisories, and prioritize safety. Through unity and cooperation, we can overcome Super Typhoon Uwan safely together.”)
