Around P3.4 billion in locally sourced revenues placed the Province of Bulacan at the top spot nationwide in Local Source Revenue Collections for Fiscal Year 2024, according to the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF).
The recognition was awarded during the BLGF’s 38th Founding Anniversary and Stakeholders’ Recognition held at the SMX Convention Center Aura in Taguig City on November 5, 2025. Bulacan’s collection of P3,393,740,000 outperformed 82 other provinces across the country.
The province also ranked Top 3 in the Ratio of Local Source Revenues to Total Current Operating Income, and Top 9 in Yearly Growth of Local Source Revenues.
BLGF Executive Director Consolacion Q. Agcaoili said the awards reflect the ability of local governments to generate sufficient income to sustain essential public services.
“In today's rapidly evolving landscape, LGUs face increasing demands and expectations from their constituents making their role more challenging yet more critical than ever. This moment, we commend their tireless effort and celebrate their achievements with their local treasurers and assessors,” Agcaoili said.
Governor Daniel Fernando dedicated the recognitions to the people of Bulacan and thanked government workers involved in the revenue effort.
“Gagawin po naming inspirasyon itong mga award na ito. Lalo po kaming magsisikap sa aming pagseserbisyo. Lalo po naming itataas ang antas ng aming pagseserbisyo sa inyo mga minamahal naming mga Bulakenyo,” Fernando said.
Joining the governor in receiving the awards were Provincial Treasurer Atty. Maria Teresa L. Camacho, Assistant Treasurer Engr. Miriam T. San Diego, and Provincial Assessor Arch. Rodello C. Robles.
