Bong Go has no property in Ayala Alabang — barangay official

An official of Barangay Ayala Alabang confirmed on Wednesday that Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go has no property in the posh subdivision in Muntinlupa City, belying claims of former Senator Antonio Trillanes that the senator owns multi-million–worth properties there, which are not listed on Go’s Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN), amounting to more than ₱32 million.

“We don’t have any record that Senator Go has property here. Any construction or acquisition of properties here ay dumadaan sa aming Barangay, apart from AAVA (Ayala Alabang Village Association),” Robert Reyes, Barangay Ayala Alabang secretary, told DAILY TRIBUNE.

Meanwhile, a source from AAVA also confirmed that Senator Go has no property in Ayala Alabang and that they haven’t seen Go set foot in the exclusive subdivision, calling the allegations of Trillanes “crazy.”

DAILY TRIBUNE also sought comment from the Office of Senator Go on whether they plan to file cyber libel charges against Trillanes, saying nothing is final yet.

“Dapat Ayala Alabang din ang mag-file ng complaint kay Trillanes kasi ipinakita ang bahay, compromising the life and safety of the owners of the property,” said Senator Go’s communications team.

Trillanes hit Go earlier after he released his SALN, alleging that Senator Go owns a four-floor house with an elevator in the said village, amounting to roughly ₱500 million.
